F.R.E.E. is a volunteer based organization, which means volunteers are critical to the programs running.

Volunteering with F.R.E.E. is an exciting way to meet new people and have a great time all at once.

*NO* horse knowledge or experience working with people that have disabilities is required.

Volunteers are needed to sidewalk with the riders, lead horses, and to serve on committees such as fund raising and board of directors. To work in classes we ask that you attend a volunteer training session.

Here are the classes you can sign up for as a volunteer, each session is either a 6 or 8 week commitment one day a week, each class in an hour long, but we ask that volunteers be at class a half hour early to get the horses ready.

Spring 2010 Class Schedule

Volunteers need to fill out the Volunteer Information Sheet, Emergency Treatment Release, Liability Release, Photo Release and Confidentiality Statement. Volunteer training is provided prior to the first classes each year and as needed.

Staff and Board:

Nicole Pepper - Volunteer Coordinator

Board of Directors: The board is made up of people from the community who have an interest in our program. They may be parents of participants, volunteers from classes, horse owners, or others involved in various ways in our program. The term for board members is 3 years.
